This package is for one person to dive in tandem with an instructor. There may be up to 20 people attending the safety briefing at any one time.

We operate all year round and recommend that you book at least one week in advance. All bookings are subject to availability.

Weather dependency
|
|
This experience is affected by the weather. In the case of poor weather conditions, we will either delay your jump or it may be necessary to cancel your skydive and reschedule for a later date. Rain, wind and cloud are factors that can delay skydiving.

What we provide
|
|
This experience starts with ground preparation that includes a full briefing and practice exits from the plane. You'll have a scenic flight, freefall, parachute ride and de-brief. We provide your jumpsuit, goggles, helmet and harness, and there will be a wine tasting experience at a Yarra Valley Winery after your jump.

What you need to wear
|
|
You need to wear comfortable clothing suitable to the season and sturdy footwear. Please bring a warm jersey or fleecy regardless of the season.
|

|
Requirements and restrictions
|
No experience is required. You must be at least 14 years of age to skydive and a maximum of 100kg. You should be physically fit. We can cater for disabled participants - please enquire at the time of booking (conditions apply). To participate in the wine tasting you must be at least 18.
There is an additional $25 Australian Parachuting Federation levy payable directly to the supplier on the day. You will also be asked to sign a waiver on the day.
Please Note: Alcohol must not be consumed prior to your skydive.

Safety information
|
Our team is made up of highly experienced skydivers who have completed thousands of jumps. Many have held positions within the Australian Parachute Federation and the Victorian Parachute Council, and are active in the development of Sports Skydiving.
We have instituted thorough operational guidelines and daily rituals that emphasise safety. These guidelines include a strict policy of only jumping in suitable weather conditions, and ensuring that our staff members have ongoing training.
Our aircraft, equipment and rigging undergoes maintenance on a 100 Hourly, six monthly and as needed basis, and we continually upgrade our facilities. Melbourne Skydive Centre works hand in hand with the Royal Vic Aero Club to ensure the safety and harmony of all aircraft operations in the Yarra Valley region.

DVD's are available for purchase on the day. With every DVD purchase you'll also receive a free still photo.

| Getting There |
|
Our jumps take place in the scenic Yarra Valley within 45 minutes easy drive from Melbourne's CBD. If driving from the CBD, take the Eastern freeway, Springvale road and Maroondah Highway. After Chirnside Park Shopping Centre which you will see on your left, the second set of traffic lights is Victoria Road� turn left. Continue down Victoria road for approx. 10 minutes and turn right on MacIntyre Road. Lilydale Airfield is on your right.
From any of the City Stations you can get yourself on the Lilydale line. Ring us on 1300 73 44 71 to arrange a pick up. |
