Duration

This tour goes all day after commencing at 9.30 am and having a break for lunch. The kayak portion takes roughly 3 hours (including the time spent on beach skills and briefing).

Availability

Kayak tours depart from Portsea Pier (Melway ref: Map 156 E2, F2) at 9.30 am daily. The snorkel commences at 2.00 pm in Blairgowrie (the destination of your Kayak tour).

What we provide
|
|
For the Kayaking Tour, we provide buoyancy vests, kayaks and paddles, refreshments are provided Guides also carry safety equipment and mobile phones. In the afternoon, we provide snorkel Instruction, Equipment Hire, Guided Snorkel Tour to the Sea Dragons. While snorkelling your guide will have a positive floatation device on hand for maximum safety and comfort.

What you need to provide
|
|
Towel, sunscreen, hat, sunglasses, booties or thongs. Please wear beach attire and bring a change of clothes.

Requirements and restrictions
|
|
Participants need to be at least 7 years and of age and of reasonable fitness/confidence level. Participants should be able to swim. Children under 14 years will be teamed up in a boat with an adult. The pace of the trip is controlled carefully so as to maximize enjoyment and minimize effort. A sense of fun and adventure is your biggest asset.

| Getting There |
|
We operate from Blairgowrie, roughly 85 km from Melbourne (1.5 hours by car).
Take the Nepean Hwy (Hwy #3) and head south to the Mornington Peninsula. Follow signs to Frankston. Once in Frankston, follow signs to Portsea. Blairgowrie is the town next to Rye and just before Sorrento. Turn left onto Canterbury Jetty Rd. Bayplay is 500m up on the right.
