This package entitles one person to fly, but you can share the experience with a friend by making a second booking at the same time. You'll fly "wing-tip to wing-tip" for the duration of your flight.

Weather dependency
|
|
Flights are weather dependent. Please call us two days before your flight for weather confirmation. If the weather is going to be unsuitable, we'll re-schedule your flight.

Requirements and restrictions
|
|
The passenger must not weigh more than 120 kg. A parent or guardian must be able to sign a consent form on behalf of passengers who are under 18 years of age.

What we provide

Pre-flight briefing, flight suit, gloves and intercom helmet, and a certificate of achievement to commemorate your flight.

What you need to wear
|
|
Wear warm clothes and closed shoes.

Photographs
|
|
You'll have the option of purchasing photos of your flight for $30.00 on the day. We have wing-mounted 5 megapixel digital SLR cameras to capture your whole flight which is burnt onto a CD for you to view after your flight. The wide-angle lens captures you in the foreground and the beautiful scenery below. These top quality digital photos are memories that will last forever.

Flight information
|
|
This experience is a trial instructional flight. Learning to fly a microlight is extremely easy. It takes 10 to 15 hours to go "solo", and about 20 hours to get your Pilot's Certificate. Your commemorative certificate from this flight counts towards further training in Microlighting should you wish to pursue it.

About microlight aircraft
|
A microlight is essentially a hang glider powered by an 80 hp water-cooled four-stroke engine which is mounted on the back of a three-wheeled trike base.
Microlights are factory made to aircraft safety standards, and approved by the Civil Aviation Safety Authority.

| Getting There |
|
All flights operate just outside of Bright at the Porepunkah Airstrip, which is approximately 3 hours drive northeast of Melbourne.
Take the Hume Highway north of Melbourne past the Wangaratta exits and then follow the signs to Bright and Mt Buffalo. Porepunkah is about 6 km before bright on the Ovens Highway. The airstrip is 2 km south of the roundabout in Porepunkah. |
