About Athelstane House
|
|
Athelstane House is located in the charming seaside town of Queenscliff on the Bellarine Penninsula. Built in 1860, it retains its historic exterior, but has been extensively refurbished to include all the luxuries of modern living inside. Centrally located, Athelstane House is opposite the main beach, and near the pier and shopping district.
There are nine stylishly appointed rooms each with balconies and many featuring spa ensuites. The highly acclaimed restaurant uses local and seasonal produce and values food less traveled and ethical eating. |

| Getting There |
|
Queenscliff is just over 100km from Melbourne and takes about 90 minutes to drive. From Melbourne, take the Princes Highway to Geelong. When in Geelong, turn left into Ryrie Street, right into Bawtree Rd, and then left onto the Bellarine Highway following the signs to Queenscliff.
When in Queenscliff, the Bellarine Highway will bring you to a roundabout where you need to turn left towards the main section of town. Go straight through the next roundabout, past the Tourist Information Bureau which is on the right and then turn right at the next street (there's a roundabout here too). Athelstane House is on the left. |
