About 65 Main
|
|
The big white house on Main Road has a long history dating back to the 1860's. Once owned by the Lucini family who established the Old Macaroni Factory, it was finally transformed by host Christine Lewis into a contemporary, vibrant B&B known as '65 Main' in March 2001.
After working in the corporate world for 10 years in London, Christine swapped the big city for a 'tree change' within the twin-towns of Hepburn Springs and Daylesford. Christine is thrilled to share the spa country with visitors and has teamed up with many local personalities and businesses who share her passion of wine, food, people and fun! |

| Getting There |
|
Hepburn Springs is approximately one-and-a-half hour's drive from Melbourne. By car, you can drive via the Western Freeway or the Calder Highway.
Western Freeway: Travel towards Ballarat and take the Ballan Daylesford Road towards Daylesford. Stay on that road by driving through Daylesford for about 3km until it becomes Main Road, Hepburn Springs. We're situated on the right hand side.
Calder Highway: Taking the Wood End exit, drive through shopping thoroughfare and turn down the road with the Daylesford signpost (opposite BP petrol station). From Wood End, drive for approx 15 minutes and take the next Daylesford turning. Enroute you'll pass Trentham Falls, Golf Course, Fernleigh Farm, Istra Smallgoods and at the town's entrance is the Farmers Arms Pub (great pub for a drink/meal). From Daylesford it is signed to Hepburn Springs and 65 Main is on the right hand side. Opposite the Macaroni factory.
V/Line operates regular, scheduled coach services to Daylesford. |
